Loren LSS Series Stepped Screen Guide Manual
1. Brief Introduction
Loren LSS Series Stepped Screen Is Equipped With a Special Transmission Mechanism and a Special Stepped Sheet. a Layer Of Moving Sheets and a Layer Of Static Sheets Are Connected To Each Other. The Moving Gratings Transport Solid Particles Upward Layer By Layer Until The Solid Particles Are Transported To The Top Discharge Port.
During Its Working Process, The Accumulation Layer Formed By The Retained Solid ParticlesWhich Is Used To Play The Role Of a Filter Layer, Thus Improving The Screening Efficiency& Quality.
This Unique Method Achieves a Higher Filtration Efficiency Than Relying Solely On The Gap Between The Gratings. This Equipment Is Mainly Suitable For Removing Fine Solid Debris Below 10mm In Water After The Coarse Grating.
2. Working Principle
A. It Fundamentally Changes The Previous Mechanical Screen
That Relies On Chain Drive Or Wire Rope Traction Rake Teeth To Make Rotation Or Reciprocating Operation To Remove Filter Residue.This Equipment Consists Of a Frame, a Drive Device, a Transmission Mechanism, Fixed Grid Plates & Moving Grid Plates.
B. The driving device is a motor that drives two spiral bevel gear
reducers to operate synchronously. There is an eccentric wheel on each output shaft of the reducer, which is connected to the moving grid. When working, the eccentric wheel drives the moving grid to make a cyclic reciprocating motion. The stepped side teeth of the two sets of grid plates are used to continuously lift the slag in the sewage from the water to the slag discharge outlet to achieve the purpose of intercepting and cleaning the slag. The frame is assembled and welded with channel steel (stainless steel or carbon steel). The fixed grid is inserted into the guide groove with positioning groove and fixed with a pressure strip. It is directly fixed on the frame.
C. After the moving grid is inserted into the guide groove with
positioning groove, it is fixed on the eccentric connecting rod mechanism. The fixed grid and the moving grid alternately form the grid gap of the equipment. When the moving grid moves back and forth under the drive of the eccentric wheel, the relative displacement of the moving and fixed grids is completed (the displacement height is the vertical elevation of a rake tooth). The moving grid transports the solid particles upward layer by layer until the solid particles are transported to the top discharge port.

5. Notice Before Order
1) Provide Information Such As Groove Width & Depth, Installation Angle, Grid Spacing Etc. When Ordering Better With a Plan View Of The Equipment Installation.
2) The dynamic and static grids of this screen are made of stainless steel, and the frame is made of carbon steel and stainless steel. Users can choose when ordering.
3) This Screen provides a set of standard control box with a PLC interface in the box, and the installation location is selected by the user.
4) Special needs should be indicated by the user in the order contract.
6.Screen Installation & Commissioning
1) Before lifting and installing the machine, check the position and
size to see if they meet the design requirements. Ensure that:
2) The two sides of the grille well are perpendicular to the top platform of the well, and the non-vertical tolerance is less than 20mm.
3) The two sides of the grille well should be parallel, and the non-parallelism is less than 20mm.
4)The installation angle tolerance should meet the design requirements, and the installation horizontal tolerance is 2/1000 mm.
5) Power on and test run to see if there is any jitter, jamming, or abnormal noise.
7.Operation & Maintenance
1) The lubricating oil in the reducer of this equipment has been
added, and no re-adding is required before use. However, the refueling hole bolt of each reducer should be replaced with a vent bolt. (A red arrow is attached to the bolt position, and the words "Note: Please change to a vent bolt before starting the machine" are written on the arrow)
2) The first lubricating oil change should be made after the initial operation of 300 hours, and once every six months thereafter. If it has not been used for a long time, the lubricating oil must be replaced before restarting. Each bearing, each shaft connection, adjustment rod, side plate and nylon strip in the frame should be frequently filled with oil. At ordinary times, attention should be paid to the oil level of the reducer to ensure normal operation.
3) Check the adjustment screw to prevent loosening.
4) The operator chooses the length of the start-up and shutdown time according to the amount of garbage disposal on site.
5) During operation, if there are fiber debris wrapped around the grid, it should be cleaned in time to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
6) Every month, the eight bearings on the eccentric wheel and the main shaft should be filled with calcium-based grease in the oil nozzle with a grease gun.
7) Every six months, check whether all connecting bolts are loose, whether the grid is deformed, and whether the transmission mechanism has abnormal sounds. If any of the above problems occur, they should be solved in time.
